About

The goal of the Community Support Group is to help workers who come to Big Sky for a season, feel welcome & supported.  This team focuses on Big Sky's 4000+ seasonal workers who come from across the globe, to allow them to experience Montana fully, meeting others beyond their roommates and a few coworkers. The CSG provides welcoming, non-alcoholic activities for seasonal workers including daily shopping trips to Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park tours, white water rafting, sleigh rides, bowling, bingo, ski/snowboard lessons and meet ups, tubing and bonfires. In-home dinners let workers meet local residents and experience home-cooking. An up-to-date Welcome Guide helps workers understand Big Sky and the resources available to them.

The CSG, which meets monthly, is comprised of many organizations who employ seasonal workers, as well as the Food Bank, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and BASE. Representatives from Lone Mountain Land Co, Big Sky Resort, Moonlight, Yellowstone Club, Montage, Lone Mountain Ranch and 320 Ranch all participate on the CSG committee. These diverse perspectives help the team design meaningful activities and aids for the Big Sky workforce.
